They spend their time dealing with members of the public, building links with employers and business and community leaders and dealing with nuisance offences, vandalism or anti-social behaviour. With a salary of £16,000 to £19,000, this is a responsible role. They are expected to work shifts and to be flexible with their working hours to meet the needs of their local community.
